A great day for ¨FungiFriday¨ we found three types of mushrooms ¨Auricularia¨¨oreja¨ of ¨Judas¨¨Junghuhnia¨ (Es-Eng)

El aprendizaje constante y el compartimiento de conocimiento, es lo que me motiva cada semana a buscar y participar en esta actividad. Hace algunos meses mi conocimiento sobre los hongos era totalmente nulo, ahora ya se identificarlos o que herramienta utilizar para identificar correctamente a que especie pertenece. Las primeras tres fotografías de este grupo pertenece a la variedad de las ¨Auricularia¨:  desgraciadamente no pude identificar a que tipo de esta variedad. Sin embargo, las cuatro fotografías restantes, las pude identificar como ¨Auricularia¨¨auricula¨¨judae¨: Si bien en esta zona no somos grandes consumidores de hongos, se que en muchos países este tipo de hongos es muy buscado para preparar diferentes comidas con ellos

Constant learning and knowledge sharing is what motivates me every week to search and participate in this activity. A few months ago my knowledge about fungi was completely null, now I know how to identify them or what tool to use to correctly identify which species they belong to. The first three photographs of this group belong to the variety of ¨Auricularia¨:  unfortunately I could not identify which type of this variety. However, I could identify the remaining four photographs as ¨Auricularia¨¨auricula¨¨judae¨: Although in this area we are not big consumers of mushrooms, I know that in many countries this type of mushroom is highly sought after to prepare different foods with them

Cuando se me complica y no puedo identificar algún hongo recurro a una herramienta que anda muy bien para identificar. Esta es una herramienta de ¨Google¨ muy conocido. Su nombre es ¨Google¨¨Lens¨:  para identificar hongos anda muy bien, aunque debes cotejar la fotografía con la tuya del hongo que estas buscando, porque en ocasiones hay hongos muy similares y puede que haya algún error, es decir, una excelente herramienta que requiere un análisis de tu parte para asegurarte que la identificación haya sido la correcta

Esta es una especie que en algún momento había encontrado en el predio, pero fue hace algún tiempo que no recordaba su nombre, por esta razón tuve que recurrir a esta herramienta, y lo identifico con el nombre de ¨Junghuhnia¨:  y la identificación es correcta, ya que se trata de un hongo de corteza de árboles, lo que si no pude identificar a que especie de ¨Junghuhnia¨ pertenece, por lo que pueden leer en el artículo de identificación son muchas variedades

Por lo que podemos ver en las fotografías que tomamos con nuestra ¨nikoncoolpixb500¨ no solo se desarrollan en las cortezas de rama de árboles, también pueden crecer sobre la propia madera del árbol. Este tipo de hongos es común verlos días después de las lluvias, ya que necesitan de la humedad del terreno para desarrollarse. Me llama mucho la atención su forma, y pueden variar su presentación, algunas tienen la similitud de una esponja vegetal, para ser honesto ignoro si será comestible, pero por su forma no creo que se pueda preparar una receta con ellos.

From what we can see in the photographs we took with our ¨nikoncoolpixb500¨ they not only develop on the bark of tree branches, they can also grow on the wood of the tree itself. This type of fungus is common to see days after the rains, since they need the humidity of the ground to develop. Their shape really catches my attention, and their presentation can vary, some have the similarity of a loofah, to be honest I don't know if they will be edible, but because of their shape I don't think you can prepare a recipe with them.
