Hello dear #Hive friends!.... Welcome to another edition of my photographic series "Exposed Gaze", whose main purpose, as many of you may already know, is to express my particular perception of my surroundings, especially from the streets in my town.

¡Hola queridos amigo de #Hive!... Bienvenidos a otra edición de mi serie fotográfica "Mirada Expuesta", cuyo principal propósito, como muchos de ustedes ya deben saber, es el de expresar mi percepción particular de cuanto me rodea, especialmente desde las calles.

Streets are often "bipolar"... One day they turn you into a simple observer, a simple human shooting photos from the border of your own thoughts. But another day, or perhaps from one moment to the next, the streets pull you into the scenes and involve you in them, then you are "in the picture" even though you are not registered in it.

Las calles suelen ser "bipolares"... Un día ellas te convierten en un simple observador, un simple humando disparando fotos desde la frontera de sus propios pensamientos. Pero otro día, o quizás de un momento a otro, las calles te arrastran hacia las escenas y te implican en ellas, entonces, tú "estás en la foto" a pesar de no aparecer registrado en ella.

"Exposed gaze" is also a diverse visual space... Something like a film reel whose eloquence is limited to telling the oddity of my very particular and changing way of perceiving what is happening around me... That's why I like to say that: "Exposed gaze" is "My exposed gaze".

"Mirada expuesta" es también un espacio visual diverso... Algo así como un rollo de película cuya elocuencia se limita a contar la rareza de mi forma tan particular y cambiante de percibir lo que sucede en mi entorno. Es por eso que me gusta decir que: "Mirada expuesta" es "Mi mirada expuesta"

Technical comment: All the photographs in this post were taken with a Nikon D7000 camera in RAW format. The processing was done with Adobe Camera Raw, in this instance all the adjustments in colour, sharpening, saturation, depth and contrasts were done. The processed images were then exported to JPG format files and secondary adjustments such as rotations, vignetting and watermarking were made using Photos Scape 3.6.1. - For the monochrome versions of these photos we started from the already processed images and exported them to JPG format, then desaturated them in also using Photo Scape 3.6.1. Obviously, due to the intrinsic characteristics of monochrome photos, a second processing of contrasts, levels and even additional vignetting had to be done.

Comentario técnico: Todas las fotografías en este post fueron realizadas con una cámara Nikon D7000 en formato RAW. EL procesado se realizó con Adobe Camera Raw, e esta instancia se realizaron todos los ajustes en color, perfilado, saturación, profundidad y contrastes. Luego, las imágenes procesadas fueron exportadas a archivos de formato JPG y en estos se hicieron ajustes secundarios como rotaciones, viñetas y agregado de marcas de agua usando Photos Scape 3.6.1. - Para las versiones monocromáticas de estas fotos se partió de las imágenes ya procesadas y exportadas a formato JPG, luego desaturaron en también usando Photo Scape 3.6.1. Obviamente, por las características intrínsecas de las fotos monocromáticas, hubo que hacer un segundo procesado de contrastes, niveles e incluso viñeteo adicional.

These photos were not taken on the same day, but correspond to two days of the same week and are therefore taken with different lenses.

Estas fotos no fueron capturadas el mismo día, sino que corresponden a dos días de una misma semana y debido a eso están hechas con lentes diferentes.

With my Sigma 18-200mm f3.5-6.3 II DC OS HSM multi-purpose lens I have taken photos 03, 04, 07 and 08... And with my Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8d FX prime lens I took photos 01, 02, 05 and 06.

Con mi lente multi-propósito Sigma 18-200mm f3.5-6.3 II DC OS HSM he realizado las fotos 03, 04, 07 y 08 y con mi objetivo de focal fija Nikon AF Nikkor 50 mm f/1.8d FX hice las fotos 01, 02, 05 y 06.

I am generally not very fussy about my choice of lenses for street photography, but I have to confess that I tend to choose prime lenses when it comes to cloudy days or foggy mornings, leaving the zoom lenses for those days with enough sunlight and clear skies.

Generalmente no soy muy quisquilloso respecto a mi decisión de lentes para hacer fotos de calle, pero tengo que confesar que suelo elegir objetivos fijos cuando se trata de días nublados o mañanas con niebla, dejando los objetivos de tipo zoom para aquellos días con suficiente luz solar y cielos despejados.
