These are photographs taken from the agricultural area called "Agua de Obispo" south of Montalbán (Carabobo, Venezuela)... They were taken in the middle of this week during an early morning walk when the sun was just beginning to rise, but a dense fog still clung to the valley... These are days of occasional downpours at night and high temperatures, and I think all of this contributes to creating this dense, warm, and humid atmosphere, which I love to take advantage of for these walks and to photograph what I see there... In these places, you can still breathe the country air, and on either side of the road there are pastures, and—during these rainy months—it's also very common to see large cornfields, which adds another bucolic touch to the landscape... There are also those beautiful spiderwebs full of dewdrops hanging from the fences, and when a ray of sunlight manages to pierce the fog and touches them, they shine like the kind of embroidery my grandmother used to do with bright thread... And the sounds of the birds, the mooing of A cow or even the purr of an old tractor in the distance... Yes, everything at dawn like this seems like it's from a bygone era...

Estas son fotografías hechas desde el área agrícola llamada "Agua de Obispo" al sur de Montalbán (Carabobo, Venezuela)... Son fotos de mediados de esta semana y las hice durante una caminata a primeras horas de la mañana cuando e sol comienza a despuntar pero una densa niebla sigue asentada en el valle... Son días de aguaceros ocasionales durante las noches y altas temperaturas ambientales, y creo que todo esto contribuye para crear esta atmósfera densa, tibia y húmeda, la cual tanto me gusta aprovechar para hacer estos recorridos y fotografiar lo que allí observo... En estos lugares aún se respira el aire de campo y a lado y lado del camino hay pastizales y -durante estos meses de lluvias- también es muy común ver grandes siembras de maíz, cosa la cual agrega más tono bucólico al paisaje... También están esas hermosas telarañas repletas de gotas de rocío que cuelgan de las alambradas, y cuando algún rayo de sol que logra atravesar la niebla las toca, brillan como si fueran bordados de esos que mi abuela hacía con hilos brillantes... Y los sonidos de las aves, el mugido de alguna vaca e incluso el ronroneo de algún viejo tractor a lo lejos... Sí, todo en los amaneceres así parece de tiempos atrás...
