This post started this way: I woke up in a really hellish mood, so after breakfast I grabbed my camera without even looking at what lens I had attached and went for a walk heading west out of town... Just a few streets later and I had left the paved streets behind and found myself on one of the many country roads that I frequent when I want to relax... I didn't really feel like taking pictures, which is why I walked past the river without taking my camera out of the bag hanging around my neck... After walking a little more than a kilometre walking, the heat became unbearable and the humidity was very high, so when I started to feel suffocated I decided to leave the road and enter a small bamboo forest at the base of the mountain...
Esta publicaci贸n comenz贸 as铆: Me despert茅 con un humor realmente infernal, as铆 que despu茅s de desayunar tom茅 mi c谩mara sin ni siquiera mirar que lente ten铆a colocado y sal铆 a caminar en direcci贸n al Oeste del pueblo... Apenas unas pocas calles despu茅s y ya hab铆a dejado atr谩s las calles pavimentadas y me encontraba en uno de los tantos caminos rurales que suelo frecuentar cuando quiero relajarme... En realidad no sent铆a ganas de hacer fotos, raz贸n por la cual pas茅 de largo el r铆o sin sacar mi c谩mara del bolso colgando en mi cuello... Despu茅s de caminar poco m谩s de un kil贸metro el calor se hizo insoportable y la humedad se percib铆a muy alta, as铆 que cuando comenc茅 a sentirme sofocado decid铆 dejar el camino y adentrarme en un peque帽o bosque de bamb煤 que est谩 en la base de la monta帽a...

Once inside the small bamboo forest, the temperature decreased suddenly, the air was much more oxygenated and fresh, even a light breeze was blowing through the place and the pleasant sound of the bamboo leaves swaying in the wind could be felt. So I took the opportunity to look around me and noticed dozens of ideal things for taking pictures while I was there regulating my body temperature and resting a bit... I took my camera out of my backpack and was pleased to see that I was wearing my small 50mm fixed lens which is ideal for this kind of low light environment. I also noticed that my Raynox close-up lens was inside the backpack and this came in handy to take some close-up shots of the stems and leaves of these huge bamboo plants... And that's how I ended up having a very nice 60 minutes and taking these photos to share with you here on #Hive! ;)
Una vez dentro del peque帽o bosque de bamb煤, la temperatura descendi贸 bruscamente, el aire se apreciaba mucho m谩s oxigenado y fresco, incluso una leve brisa atravesaba el lugar y se sent铆a el agradable sonido de las hojas de bamb煤 mecidas por el viento. As铆 que aprovech茅 para observar a mi alrededor y me percat茅 de docenas de cosas ideales para fotografiar mientras me encontraba all铆 regulando mi temperatura corporal y descansando un poco... Saqu茅 mi c谩mara de la mochila y vi con complacencia que llevaba puesto mi peque帽o lente fijo de 50mm el cual es ideal para este tipo de entornos con poca luz. Tambi茅n me percat茅 de que mi lentilla de acercamiento Raynox estaba dentro de la mochila y esto me ven铆a como anillo al dedo para hacer algunas fotos de acercamientos en los tallos y hojas de estas enormes plantas de bamb煤... 隆Y as铆 fue como termin茅 teniendo unos 60 minutos muy agradables y haciendo estas fotos para compartirlas con ustedes aqu铆 en #Hive! ;)

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.
NOTA T脡CNICA ADICIONAL: Fotograf铆as capturadas con mi c谩mara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.
