Here's the ruleset

Water and Fire are my favorite splinters for the Odd One's Out ruleset. Life and Earth are my favorite splinters for the Even Stevens ruleset.

Lineup:

Summoner: Tarsa

image.png

Tarsa buffs my melee attacks and my health.

Tank: Living Lava

The Shild ability is fantastic and the Lava hits hard.

1st position: Radiated Brute

The Brute hits for 3 in connection with Tarsa.

2nd position: Creeping Ooze

This is pretty much a must have card for the Slow ability at 1 mana.

3rd position: Serpentine Spy

The opportunity ability allows me to knock off the most vulnerable monster on my opponent's team. Unfortunately the Serpentine Spy ends up being the most vulnerable monster on my team most of the time. Near mirror fire matches usually come down to who's Serpentine Spy gets killed first.

4th position: Uraeas

This is a great Sneaker and seems to be most effective when paired with another Sneaker. It helps a lot when you're able to upgrade this to level 2 for that extra damage. Unfortunately I'm still playing with a level 1 Tarsa for now.

5th position (rear tank): Tenyii Striker

The Striker deals a lot of sneak damage. It's not usually the fastest monster on the battlefield but is usually fast enough to make a big difference. Tenyii Striker is pretty much an auto include when playing the fire splinter.

Did my strategy work?

Not this time.

Do I like Tenyii Striker?

Yes. Like I said, this is pretty much an auto include when playing the fire splinter. The easiest thing to compare this to is the Radiated Brute because it costs the same amount of mana in the same splinter. Of the 2 I think that Tenyii Striker is strictly better.

What will I try differently next time?

I may go for the water splinter next time. I don't have a Water Elemental, but I see a few cards on the other side of the battlefield that I had considered using.

Thanks for reading and thanks for all the upvotes, reblogs, comments and follows. I'll see you in the game.
