Here's the ruleset
Lineup:
Summoner: Bortus
What's my opponent most likely to bring at me in a keep your distance ruleset (even paired with the weak magic ruleset)?
Bortus debuffs all of my opponent's magic attacks
Tank: Djinn Oshannus
What's my opponent most likely to bring at me in a keep your distance ruleset?
My opponent's already debuffed magic attacks will start out by running into Oshannus' void ability. For those ranged attacks that my opponent may have brought Oshannus is also fast and if all of that isn't enough then Oshannus is big enough to soak up a few hits.
The price on Oshannus has been driven down by sheer volume but while 76,000 copies of a legendary card looks like a lot now, it's going to seem real scarce in a couple of years.
1st position: Nerissa Tridawn
Nerissa hits for 3 magic damage.
2nd position: River Hellondale
The resurrect ability is so underrated.
3rd position: Axemaster
Axemaster pours on a ton of damage with the double strike ability.
4th position: Venari Wavesmith
The protect ability is already so strong that I would include this even without the weak magic ruleset. With weak magic it means that all of my monsters can soak up an extra hit or 2.
5th position: Sea Stalker
At level 1 the Sea Stalker hits for 4 ranged attack damage. The Snipe ability mixes things up a little and allows me to take out monsters in the back line.

Yes indeed!
Do I like Sea Stalker?
Yes, Riftwatchers brought a lot of great cards, putting an extra ranged attack monster in my water splinter is a great chance to diversify my attacks in a keep your distance ruleset.
What will I try differently next time?
With all this mana and new cards to play with there were a ton of options. In the past I would generally have used Captain's Ghost before I had access to Sea Stalker. Both versions of this lineup appear to be very effective.
