The launch of Rebellion is just 3 days away. This is a big set and will shake things up a lot.

I'm excited to try the set out and have some new goals for cards to acquire and things to level up. The launch of Rebellion makes me think of when Chaos Legion launched. I started playing Splinterlands a couple of years ago during the Chaos Legion presale.

Most of the cards that I started playing with and that I played against were the "ghost" cards from Beta and Untamed. When Chaos Legion launched, I could no longer play with those Beta cards and I suddenly had access to the common and rare cards from Chaos Legion. The big strategy at the time was to magic spam people with Alric and you had the extra protection from Venari Wavesmith. The introduction of a new set and more importantly, the removal of those ghost cards from Beta, made people think critically about their new options. It will be exciting to see the meta shift and continue to be in flux for a few months while we all adjust.

I've had difficulty finding some of the spoilers. I saw 3 posts here on PeakD. I don't know if those 3 posts contain all of the cards from Rebellion, I don't really think they do. Do any of you know where I can find the full list?

The most comprehensive list that I've found so far was done by hawks21@hawks21 on his YouTube channel.

I'm happy to see a lot of cool new cards that aren't going to completely blow the older cards out of the water. I haven't been seeing a lot of cards that make me think I'm going to need to spam a specific card all the time. More than that, new cards from Rebellion have made me think about synergies with other cards and ways to work things into existing strategies.

I'm looking forward to using Torch Myrmidon in front of Drybone Raider for the synergy of flank giving me more access to Drybone Raider's melee attacks in the going the distance ruleset.

I'm excited for the prospect of using Anasth Soothsayer in the wands out ruleset to tank heal my Djinn Oshannus.

My understanding is that Soothsayer doesn't pick up the tank heal ability until level 2, so I'll want to level that one up early. I'll also want to work on leveling up Alric and or Bortus to pair it with.

I previously prepared some posts for silver league upgrades to work on and didn't have a better chance to share them before the Rebellion release, so I dumped those today.

I'll get back to working on a lot of these upgrades after upgrading Anasth Soothsayer. I also anticipate working out similar posts for the Rebellion set after I've had a chance to familiarize myself with the set a little better and see it in action.

I hope this post has been helpful and informative. Thanks for reading and thanks for all the upvotes, reblogs, comments and follows. I'll see you in the game.
