What do you think first of the word bat?馃槅
I was searching for a furry animal card but ended up choosing this scary bat. Hmm, the first thing that came to my mind was EBOLA. 馃ぃ Just because the Ebola virus outbreak started with infected bats. I just learned this story in an animated video on YouTube.
Where I live, I can see bats at night. They have this creepy sound ikkk ikk ikk 馃槰 I think of the aswangs. So when I was a kid playing with neighbors outside, I run back to our house before the sun sets because that is the time aswangs will come out. That's how they scare kids before just to make it to dinner.
The card that I picked for today is Vampire Bat!
Art Process
I cannot defeat 
I made the wings a little lighter purple compared to the body. The eyes are in the color red same as the original card. Adding the shades to add depth and dimensions so that even though this is a simple drawing, I want to add more details in to it. I chose a brown with a little purple tone for the background color.
I added a texture to the wings. It is a layer clipped on the base color. It is an image file of a textured layer and then I just lowered the opacity. Added highlights on the body and also in the eyes.
Final art
I added another layer on top to add the pink glow on the right side. I just copied the idea from the original card. Put all the layers in one folder and merge them all to put another bat on the background and just lowered the opacity.
