Bats usually fly at night or in the dusk. But one afternoon at the Inn River when I was on a photography trip with Stefan I found this bat flying above our heads for several minutes. There must have been some insects flying at the hight of the bat and it was probably eating in flight. The form and function of microbat teeth differ as a result of the various diets these bats can have. Teeth are primarily designed to break down food; therefore, the shape of the teeth correlate to specific feeding behaviors.
