I started with a faint blue brush. At this stage, I was thinking about the background already. I was thinking about a field of Lily of the Valley, but then I realized that it would be a difficult to do all the little flowers.
I copied the colors from the original art. 馃槉 Using an airbrush, I started working on the shading.
Next is the shine using a cell brush, and then blurring it out. I then manually drew the branches and added some bark details.
I added more branches to the background for dimension and then blurred them again. Lastly, using the snow brush for the tiny specks, and then the cloud brush for the snow on the branches.
