Ribbit ribbit! In our language, we say "kokak kokak!" 馃槅. This is a late post already for day 8 prompt 馃槅 I got lazy after sketch and totally forgot to continue it.
Since the prompt is "toad", I want to recreate my OCs! 馃槉 Frog Prince and Sharky.
Art Process
I just sketched a peace sign pose. Since Sharky has no fingers, she just waved. 馃槅 Originally, the right hand of Frog is on Sharky's shoulder, but I felt the positioning is awkward. 馃槄 Next, I wanted the facial expression of Frog to be winky~ so I changed that as well.
The base colors are under saturated shades of green and blue just to separate the two characters. It was supposed to be gray for both of them but I feel like it is lacking. Next, I applied darker shades to hair and details. On another layer on top, I used a darker shade for the shadows. I alpha locked the shadows to draw the diagonal lines.
Final Art
Lastly, I chose a textured image, similar to paper for the background. I added some lines using an edge pen. A simple entry for Inktober! 馃コ
