While finishing a hike this weekend, I noticed this lady struggling to push up this stroller up the side of a set of stairs and crushing plants in her struggles. At first, I was annoyed at the disrespect for the environment, then I was thrown off at what she was trying to do.
The stroller was definitely one of the fancier ones, but I'm pretty sure "off-road" was not listed as one of the features. She wasn't dressed for the hike at all. Perhaps she was going to go for a short hike (it didn't sound like it). The trail itself was not going to be forgiving. It's sandy, uneven, and has plenty of ruts. With small like that and what appears to be a higher center of gravity, I was worried that the stroller might accidentally tip over. If not, the lady's forearms must be burning if she was to keep it up.
Now I'm not saying that they're not to be on the train. It's public space and everybody is allowed access it. However, jsut because you're allowed to access it doesn't mean you just show up seemingly unprepared. Perhaps a kid carrier pack would've made much more sense here.
The lady proceeded to push this stroller down the trail.
