It's kinda disheartening to know that the person you've once sought comfort through all the joys and heartaches, the one you fully opened your heart into---knows your dreams and hopes, turned her back on you. One moment that person's on your side, next thing you know she's also siding and praising the very person you hated the most for causing you too much pain. And you try so hard to recall which of those things that person said were ever true and which aren't.
I used to think I am so smart when it comes to things like this. But I always, always fall apart with people. 😪
