Hello to all hive users 🤗❤️🙏
Hope you all are healthy and doing great in your life🙂
Nowadays, many people tell us that the current times are very bad and we have to be very careful. And I find this to be true to a large extent, because nowadays people cheat a lot, and we can expect honesty from very few people, because honesty is rarely seen in people now. Some people have become so dishonest that they will do anything for money, and they just want to make money, no matter what the means. Nowadays, people see only two ways to earn money: either they can become successful through hard work or they can earn money quickly through fraud. Some people don't like to work hard, so they resort to fraud.

Even in the past, people used to commit fraud, but it was much less common. People used to scam people by giving them useless items and taking a lot of money in return. Then, they would ask for the money for something important, but it wasn't returned. There used to be very few methods, but nowadays, people are finding many ways to commit fraud. People are increasingly looking for online methods because online methods allow the fraudster to avoid contact with anyone, eliminating the risk of being caught. Furthermore, the identity of the fraudster is also hidden. If a fraudster is committed in person, their face is visible to others, so they can be cautious next time. However, sometimes, people commit fraud online in ways they don't even know. However, some people fall into their trap, and the poor person becomes a victim of fraud.
A similar fraud occurred with a close relative of mine. This incident happened about 5-6 years ago. My relative had ordered shoes online. His first mistake was that he ordered them directly from the online website he visited, opening the website on his mobile phone, and not downloading an application that would require him to log in to the website to check his order. He ordered the shoes, and after a few days, they arrived. Later, he didn't like them and had some size issues. When he checked the online website, it was asking for customer details, and he couldn't remember his login password. He wasn't familiar with this, and he didn't have a technically educated person in his family who could help him. He randomly searched Google for the website's customer care number. The number he received turned out to be that of a scammer.
The scammer first told him that he would need to download an application on his mobile phone. He sent him a link to download the application. The application was a fake application that would access a user's data. The scammer continued to guide him on the call, explaining how to do it, and he followed his instructions. After doing all this, he installed the application on his mobile phone, and then the call suddenly got disconnected. After the call was disconnected, he tried again, but no one answered. He thought there might be a problem, so he didn't try again. Nothing happened that day. Then, about two days later, he noticed that a message had been sent to his account, claiming a total of ₹20,000. This amounted to approximately ₹100,000.
Seeing this message, she said, "I was completely shocked. At first, she didn't understand what it was. Then, she immediately left her work and ran to the bank. There, she discovered that the money had been debited from her account, and she had no idea who had debited it or whose account it had gone into. After this, she immediately filed a complaint at the nearest police station in her city." When no action was taken even after many days of filing the complaint, he again approached a higher authority but nothing came out from there also. He had come to know in whose name this account was and even he had come to know a lot about the person but still he was not able to reverse the money because this money was sent to some other account through his own mobile with the help of that application and there was no such rule in his law which allowed reversal of money and even the bank did not have any provision for this thing, hence he got trapped in a trap like this. In such a situation, the person becomes very weak and still he is left with no option and even SMS cannot help you even after knowing everything.
In such a situation, it is very important for you to keep yourself safe and if a person does not have much knowledge about online things then he should not use it and should do transactions in the same old safe way or can look for some other option because in today's time some scammers are always on the lookout for how to trap such people who do not have much knowledge about online transactions and by using this facility they make such people their victims.
The lesson I’ve learned from this incident is that if you are unfamiliar with something, you should not use it. If you truly need something, seek guidance from a trusted or knowledgeable person. If you have even the slightest uncertainty about something, do not take the risk—because what might seem like a simple risk can often turn into a major scam, leaving you trapped and helpless, just as my relatives ended up being.
