I always wanted to participate in this contest, to be honest, not because I loved photography a lot or something like that, no, is because I love the hard contrast shadows do on our everyday life and how neglected they are in artworks, usually a representation of evilness or pure darkness, never as a reflection of light itself.

Siempre quise participar en este concurso, para ser sincero, no porque me gustara mucho la fotografía o algo así, no, es porque me encanta el duro contraste que hacen las sombras en nuestro día a día y lo olvidadas que están en las obras de arte, normalmente una representación de la maldad o de la pura oscuridad, nunca como un reflejo de la propia luz.

So I experimented yesterday taking pictures of my fiancée's pregnancy, one by one focusing on her, and trying to get the best photo I was able to. and these are my best results, we did this effect with the lightbulb of an old lava lamp where we removed the cristal capsule with the "Lava in it" and just used the light as a torch to two this magnificent light on my fiancee and cast this great shadows.

Así que experimenté ayer tomando fotos del embarazo de mi prometida, una por una enfocando en ella, y tratando de obtener la mejor foto que pude. y estos son mis mejores resultados, hicimos este efecto con la bombilla de una vieja lámpara de lava donde quitamos la cápsula de cristal con la Lava en ella y sólo usamos la luz como una antorcha para dos esta magnífica luz en mi prometida y proyectar esta gran sombra.

I deeply loved how these photos were born, as a joint effort from a couple of parents to be, as an intent on our side to reach a bigger art on our hearts, interesting indeed.
