Flor prohibida al viento
El viento es el arco que templa el violín del cielo;
ni a tu rosa de pan por donde lo besas;
como un río volador;
Flower denied to the wind
The wind is the bow that tempers the violin of the sky
but your hair, woman, is the waterfall
where my hands are released up to your guitar
because I want to be a bow in your body
because there is no womb that roots the music
because music was invented to sublimate to the touch
and your body is to your guitar what the sea is to the sea drops
what the sky is to the stars.
Your body, woman, is impossible to the wind
because it cannot sweep your flowers with its fury
nor to your volcanic rose through which the world is born
nor to your rose of milk where you suckle it
nor to your rose of bread where you kiss it
the wind in front of your nakedness
is a colossal god that flees like a frightened child
like a flying river
poor arch of the sky that does not know about honeys
that does not know how to descend from cascade to cascade to your roses
that with so much power
it will never be able to embrace you as I do tonight.
