These small but numerous mushrooms that I found along the way are due to the fact that I took a new hiking route in El Ávila, the great mountain north of Caracas that I am gradually discovering. Unlike the areas I usually visit, in the east there are more rivers and waterfalls, the path is narrow and very humid, which made it conducive to encountering mushrooms for the first time in the six months I have been climbing the mountain with my colleagues (or alone). I was already a little disappointed not to have encountered them during all this time, but now they have appeared.
Estos pequeños, pero numerosos hongos que encontré en el camino se debe a que realicé una nueva ruta de senderismo en El Ávila, la gran montaña que se encuentra al norte de Caracas y que voy descubriendo poco a poco. A diferencia de las zonas que generalmente recorro, en el este hay más ríos y cataratas, el camino es angosto y muy húmedo, lo que hizo propicio coincidir con hongos por primera vez en los seis meses que tengo subiendo la montaña junto a mis colegas (o solo). Ya estaba un poco decepcionado de no coincidir con ellos durante todo este tiempo, pero ahora aparecieron.
I don't know the names of the different species I saw, I just know that I was amazed by them. In fact, I have seen these round ones that you can see in the two photos above this paragraph several times on the hiking trail I usually take, the San Bernardino Trail, but I didn't know they were mushrooms. One of my companions told me, Now I know, and I hope to continue encountering them while I learn a little and try to take great photos. I hope you all enjoyed this post, so thank you for joining me. No sé el nombre de las distintas especies, que vi, solo sé que estaba maravillado con ellos, de hecho estos redondos que pueden apreciar en las dos fotos sobre este párrafo sí que los he visto varias veces en la ruta que generalmente hago de senderismo, la Ruta de San Bernardino, pero no sabía que eran hongos, uno de mis compañeros fue quien me informó, ahora lo sé y espero seguir coincidiendo con ellos mientras aprendo un poco e intento tomar fotografías geniales.
