My first post I introduced myself and spoke a little bit about my passion for fishing. Today I'd like to talk about why my husband and I purchased kayaks.
My passion for fishing began at a young age. It was a popular hobby amongst my grandparents, so naturally, they taught me to love the sport.
Fast forward to about ten years ago I met my husband on eHarmony. One of the things we found we had in common was fishing!
We were both young (early 20s) when we met, so we didn't have a lot of money. That didn't stop us from getting out and hitting the Michigan banks to try and land some giant fish! Eventually we both landed on our feet and found jobs in the manufacturing industry.
Once we found ourselves with a stable income, we assessed our hobbies and where we wanted to invest money. We always came back to fishing. We decided we didn't have the money to invest in the kind of boat we wanted, plus we didn't have a place to store it. So we tossed around the idea of kayaks.
We did a lot of research because we knew that we didn't want a piece of plastic that floats for $200. Our purpose for these kayaks was very specific. Fish, eat, sleep, repeat.
The decision to purchase our Jackson Kayaks, was one of the best decisions we've made in a long time. These kayaks have seen rivers, lakes, and even the ocean!
Time and time again, the performance of the kayaks proves their worth. Not to mention all of the memories that have been made on the kayaks.
