Y'all remember this? Things have progressed, the cherry mater is dead, I've moved the Squash and I need to move the bell pepper, as the Cucumber is shading it out.

The first tomato plant is doing SO well, I tend to be waiting for the other shoe to fall
It is actually in a much better cage right now, but I counted 18 tomatoes in various stages, though none are showing color yet
This is to give perspective
Yesterday was a down day for me, I had no energy, and it rained a lot, and continues to do that. SO this morning, I got out and started early.
Always my first thing is to go out and spread my nights worth of urine in the grass around my veggie garden; sounds gross, but it keeps the deer away.
Then I turn on the dehumidifier in my studio, then normally I water everything front and back, but that isn't needed now with all this rain.
In the bed that runs alongside the eastern part of the house, there are MANY things, most of which are weeds no doubt, but you know the old saying:
"A Rose in an Apple orchard, is a weed"

I looked it up on Wikipedia:
Plantago major, the broadleaf plantain, white man's foot, or greater plantain, is a species of flowering plant in the plantain family Plantaginaceae.
The plant is native to most of Europe and northern and central Asia, but has widely naturalised elsewhere in the world.
The young, tender leaves can be eaten raw, and the older, stringier leaves can be boiled in stews and eaten. Broadleaf plantain is not related to the fruit also known as plantain, which is a kind of banana.

So, I'll leave it for now, as it is edible and has medicinal purposes, the plant app said it was also known as the "Bandaid plant"
But I digress.
There are two roses in this bed on the east side. This one ↑ is a climbing rose, so I bought this trellis last week, and have just now put it in the ground. I would LIKE to move the rose (the trellis is centered between two windows) but I've been advised against doing it now.
Day before yesterday I bought some "Rose Food" and today, I dug out around both of them, applied some food, then peat moss (dried Sphagnum moss) and fresh soil.
While at it, I cut, drilled wisteria and mimosa stumps and poured roundup in the holes.
Then, I set to work on the lower end of this bed.

I dug up that lower end, looked at the problem (still haven't completely decided what I want to do) but I also pulled up a section of the "concrete-over-brick" landing, excavated some and put it back, hoping to make so that the water will drain away rather than pool up there (I believe it may be the drain trough of an extinct gutter system), and STILL the water wants to pool up there
So after all that, I came in and took a shower, because I was NASTY. And now, I am well and truly a tired puppy
OH! I forgot! I got my two hanging baskets for the Kimberly Queen Ferns today, came just a few minutes ago, so my day isn't done yet.
