Our hydrangeas are heavy and drooping over. We have been getting nice cool weather and regular showers for a couple of weeks now. The fall weather has really greened everything up.
I am so excited to get a few apples this year! I'm been planting a few apple trees each year for 5 years now.
This is my star Liberty tree 馃檪 its is healthy and cropping this year. After some experience, I've figured out I need trees that can tolerate my poor soil and have some resistance to Cedar Apple Rust. The Liberty is almost completely immune to rust.
Morning glories are still going strong in the late summer.
Sometimes is better to be lucky than to be good 馃檪 the blackeyed susans, then zinnias, then morning glories provided a perfect three levels in this small flower bed. Of course we didn't even consider that when planting it 馃槅
The next bed over didn't quite work out as perfect but has the same elements plus a few marigolds.
The blackeyed susans have looked great all summer. Thats all for today. Thanks for checking out my post.
