This is (or was) the light fixture in my bedroom. There is an identical fixture in the hallway.
I've been running a combination of Box/window fan (sitting on the floor), a small round fan I also use during my performances, or a very small fan pointing directly at my face.
I set my AC at 70° (so it is usually about 72° in my bedroom; I like to snuggle up in my covers)
All those fans (not all running at once of course) make more noise than I liked.
SO, today I borrowed a ladder from the complex

After I had been to Lowe's and tried to find one that was rather inexpensive and as close as possible matched the existing fixtures.

I have installed numerous ceiling fans over the years, but none since my hip replacement, which has left me a WHOLE lot weaker.
Climbing up and down that ladder did me in.
Plus, this particular fan had some different mountings than I've seen before

MULTIPLE times dropping screws, once I saw that I'd left out the washers on the blades, so had to backup and redo those screws

So now, I have a whisper quiet fan stirring the air in the room.
I am one happy camper.
