We walk past each other without seeing,
As if we were ghosts,
Passing On the Street.

Faces buried in phones, Ears Stuffed with Buds, Wires Dangling,
Minds filled with propaganda and rhetoric
Preferring to hear the jangle of some Rhyming Fool
Or political appointee spouting nonsense
Over the music of nature which surrounds us.

Instead of Talking With Each Other,
The world just glides past
Without notice, and we do not see It is gone.
Until it is too late

Wake up!
LISTEN to each other,
Share your THOUGHTS,
Give your TIME to each
Other,
You were never a
