Hi Steemians!

I will be sharing my recipe for a Filipino vegetable soup. It is very affordable, easy to prepare, delicious and most of all it's healthy too!

Ingredients:

"Alugbati leaves" or vine spinach

"Okra" aka lady's fingers // squash (chopped)

eggplant // "gabi" aka taro (chopped)

onions and garlic chopped

"tanglad" aka lemon grass

pork cut into cubes

oyster sauce and some salt to taste

Steps:

  1. Saute garlic, onions and pork. Add salt to taste.

  2. Simmer for 4mins, add squash and gabi.

  3. Add water. Boil until meat is tender. Add okra eggplant and lemon grass.

  4. Simmer for 15mins or until the vegetables are cooked. Lastly, add the alugbati leaves. Add some salt to achieve desired taste.

  5. Serve it while hot.
