As some cities grow in some countries in the world more development occurs.Atlanta is the one who experienced this fast growth and large amounts of impervious surfaces had replaced natural landscape.Those natural landscapes has been replaced by roads,buildings,and housing developments.Examples of Impervious surfaces are streets,parking lots,walkways,and roofs.Impervious pavements will seal the surfaces of soil and will affect the rainwater infiltration,run off and evaporation of water and will cause some flooding.Pollutant materials can affect animals,plants,fish and even people.It will collect solar heat,will reduce oxygen in stream water will affect aquatic ecosystem,will reduce ecological productivity,and interrupting carbon cycle in the atmosphere.
