Child's happiness means parent's joy.
It was Sunday when the championship of our district sports league happened. I wasn't able to attend women's volleyball because I was suffering from earache that time. I really want to go in the venue but my husband told me not to go because the situation of my ear might get worst. I followed his advise and just stay home. My son really wanted to go because in how many games
Time passed by and my ear feel better a little bit. Might be the medicine I took helped me to recover.
When my husband got home from work after three in the afternoon, my son asked him to go in the covered court where the venue of the championship is on going. My son really love to go and watch basketball because he wanted to play too. He is always looking forward after the game because he can shot a ball in a short time.
My son was able to convinced his father and told him to dress up and we will go. He moves as quick as possible and grab his jersey short, a gift from his uncle. He also wear sleeveless and grab his red shoes expecting that he could play basketball. He said thank you papa(father) because we will go to the basketball court.
When we reach the court, the championship for basketball men is on going. My husband and my son enjoyed watching it as the game is so good because the team have the same score and they need to extend more time.
While me, noticed that the volleyball championship is still on going. I went there and noticed my co women that there face were so red because of the heat of the sun but all of their efforts are worth it because our team won and we are the champion.
While the basketball is still on going, my son noticed that their is a mini playground in the other side. He told his father that he wanted to go there but his father wanted more to watch basketball. So, he tap me to accompany our son in the playground. I agreed and my son was happy running towards the playground and saying thank you mama(mother).
He then go straight in the swing with a rubber tire because no child is using it. He swing it carefully as it is his first time to swing in the rubber tire.
When he is satisfied in the rubber swing, he then transferred to the another swing when he noticed that there is one swing free. But when he is swinging, a little girl go towards him and claim that the swing is hers and she is likely to cry. I was amazed when my son stop swinging and offered the swing to that little girl. In the back of my head, why is she claiming that it is hers when it is a public playground, lol but good thing my son's mind is not like mine. He is kind and understanding enough for that little girl.
He then go to the slide and I felt worried for him because the slide is quite long and tall. I was not able to took picture because I was there below trying to catch him. That's me being a worrier.
He also go the the seesaw and me as his partner. I am controlling the height and the speed of the seesaw because no one accompanied him but good thing he made it and let me stop when he is already satisfied.
He also tried to climb and hang in there but he can't handle himself and he will fall but of course I was there waiting for him and help him to get it through.
He enjoyed in the playground until the basketball game is over. He then grab his small ball and excitedly enter the court with other kids. He tried to shot the ball many times and look if he was able to shoot it.

It was a great fun Sunday for our little boy. I felt the happiness he had and my heart is filled with joy too.
An activity like this is a simple way of making our kids enjoy, exercise, socialize and above all we will see how they will react on something. We will discover some of their character towards others.
