The heart of a woman is a deep ocean of secrets; famous phrase from the titanic movie, with which I totally agree.
Well says the Lord in his word, we are fragile vessels, easily broken; for our men we look like a gramophone reproducer of out of tune and meaningless, for us, it is the extreme need to let them know what we feel and need.
Fine thread at the limit of sanity; we want peace, tenderness, details that make us feel loved and when we do not receive them our heart beats again and again, trying to silence the noise that our most negative thoughts produce.
It is a reality that giving instead of receiving is much more satisfying. It is the voluntary renunciation of wasting time hoping to meet the highest expectations with the wrong person.
That the kind word calms the anger, that the decayed spirit dries the bones, that the beauty is not the one that you take for outside, that the fight wears and exhausted; unmanageable truths because of our patient character and intolerant of suffering; we block our emotions and many of us find it difficult to find out about our dissatisfaction around us, but our face speaks for itself and our automatic reactions give us away.
Of what is in the heart, the mouth speaks; what contaminates a person is not what enters through it, but what comes out of it, we honor God with our lips, but in reality we are far from Him (Matthew 15 NIV). We say that we love him, but we feel incapable in the moments of effervescence, of keeping the composure to which we have been called.
We are legalists and hypocrites, sometimes we believe we have the right to criticize and point out those who have been wrong, other times we are condescending to justify things like bad thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual immorality, thefts, false testimonies and the slanders; our permissiveness exceeds the limits expected by the almighty, because although we do not see it physically, He has been in charge of showing us the consequences of our clumsiness (Matthew 15: 17-20 NIV).
The truth is that the heart betrays us, follow it, is condemned slowly to be slaves of our desires and even if we wanted to hide their conspiracy against what hurts us, God already knows in advance our thoughts, our actions, our vague intentions and despite that he loves us, he will not stop disciplining us because of our lack of wisdom (Jeremiah 17: 9-10 NIV).
To face with determination what robbs us of peace, guaranteeing our physical security is definitely necessary, but for every Christian it must be a priority, we must strive for our spiritual stability, avoiding confrontation with violence and always holding up the name of God; Trusting in his power will always be your best defense.
My son, do not forget my teachings; rather, keep my commandments in your heart. Because they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity.
