This day's walk was a long one, for a few days now my husband and I have been running errands looking for a medical specialist to see my father-in-law, there are several places and different options, but like everyone, we want our family to receive the best care, but also at a good price that we can afford. I can't lie, it is stressful to be worried and at the same time searching for hospital and clinic options and sometimes the worry makes us unable to think clearly.
My husband and I talked about this and decided to run the errands, but trying not to get too frustrated, be patient and understanding. By this time most private and public health centers take a break, are on vacation and resume their schedule in early January, this has frustrated our plans a little, but today we received very good news that allowed us to calm down a little, we got a good specialist at a good price and also work with a full schedule these last weeks of December.
With this good option, we can begin to make preparations to take my father-in-law as soon as possible to be treated, that news fell so well that taking advantage that we were downtown we decided to enjoy a Wednesday walk, between stores and squares, we enjoyed seeing everything around us, it was a little sunny, but we were prepared with hats and an umbrella, so this was not a problem.
One of the places we visited in a beautiful place that is full of trees and grass, we always pass by there but today I said to my husband "What if we sit a little bit in the grass?" I thought he would not support the idea, but he said yes and we rested from a long day sitting there, talking and enjoying the nature that surrounded us, even though we were in the city. It was like a mini picnic, something we really needed and it did us a lot of good.
It was a nice day in spite of everything and we learned something very important, we always, but always need to take a few minutes to let out all the stress that life causes, sometimes unexpected situations arise and we must be quick and efficient, but we can't achieve this if worry or anxiety blinds us, so to deal with the problems we also need to have our minds as calm as possible, a good way is to give us even a few minutes to breathe fresh air or to observe nature.
We walked quite a bit and ended up exhausted, but it was a successful day in which we managed to achieve what we were looking for and at the same time, we were able to relax a bit and keep a positive attitude. We noticed that around us there were a lot of people, for these dates many have vacations and some of them were walking freely in that place, taking pictures, returning from shopping and being with family, how nice it is to see that people spend time with their loved ones, not only on holidays, but one that make a Wednesday a special day!
