Hello everyone, this Wednesday I will share with you a colorful walk that made my evening bautiful and illuminating.
For the last few years, the Chinese New Year has been celebrated in my city, Belgrade. It has become a tradition. And on that occasion, the Chinese festival of lights is held.
Lanterns in the most beautiful colors are displayed on one of the city's promenades next to the Sava River. It was a real pleasure to watch them.
I walked and admired every lantern. I admired the carefully chosen colors that brought life to the darkness. The artistic impression was fantastic.
Various installations that represent the spirit of tradition and symbolism of ancient China, such as the animal kingdom, dragons, magical deer, strange fish, African animals, shone at the festival.
Looking at the lanterns, I had the impression that they were floating on water. They looked so graceful and soothing.
On the promenade where the festival was held, there is the largest shopping center in Belgrade, called the Gallery, which is always in the center of attention, but this time it fell into the shadow of wonderful lanterns.
The lights symbolize a new beginning and new strength for everything that awaits us in the new year.
We leave everything that happened in the old year behind us, and with new light we go into a new life, full of joy and happiness. That's what the Chinese say, and that's what I say to all of you too. Let's illuminate life with beautiful lights and don't let anyone block them.
It was very cold weather and the right moment for another nice experience. Two girls from China were serving tea at the exit of the mall. The tea has a very pleasant taste as well as the illuminated evening during which I once again celebrated the new year.
This is my entry for the awesome #wednesdaywalk challenge hosted by @tattoodjay.
Thank you very much for reading.
The images and writing are original and mine.
