BTC vs BCH
There is currently a big move underway from Bitcoin (BTC) to Bitcoin Cash (BCH).
Buyers on Korean exchanges are buying into Bitcoin Cash.
BCH is currently more profitable to mine, and hash rate is moving en masse to Bitcoin cash.
The tranaction costs of Bitcoin have jumped to $10 per transaction.
Rumors go this is an attack to make Bitcoin Cash the real Bitcoin.
Roger Ver has been preaching for some time that Bitcoin Cash is the real Bitcoin.
Miners have the advantage of increased income with mining Bitcoin cash, and might be distrunted after segwit2x didn't happen.
How will this play out?
As long as Bitcoin cash is more profitable to mine, most miners will mine it. Thats a simple equasion.
The Bitcoin transaction network might come to a temporary halt if it is unprofitable to mine.
It might take weeks in that case for the difficulty adjustments to happen to make Bitcoin mining profitable again.
We currently have 140.000 waiting transactions. The network is still functioning.
This might be a great opportinity to buy Bitcoin.
But at the moment, everyone is anxiously looking at the price.
