A little while ago, I started publishing The Weekly which is essentially a collection of five post suggestions or inspirations if you will, for the week ahead - aimed at those publishing to the Lifestyle Lounge Community and it is always nice when I can find the time myself to partake in some of them. I am a complete foodie, so this is one which I simply HAD to do! It was one of my inspirations from the Second "The Weekly" post I did. A note, just before I get to the good stuff, is that none of these weekly suggestions have a time limit, they are simply there for use at any point in your blogging journey! So... this was the prompt I selected.

Right, with that said... let's get to the good stuff!

I have actually never contemplated my last day on earth before, let alone what I would want as a three course menu. I am not much of a sweets gal - definitely lean more to the savoury, but there are a few select sweets I would possibly consider. This is a really tough one actually... decisions, decisions...

Carbs and I have had a long love affair throughout my life. I am the girl that will eat the entire pot of pasta and lick the pot of mashed potato clean! yip... is what it is eh, lol. So the presence of carbs on this menu is complete no-brainer! Food and the preparation of it plays such a huge part in my life - it is a passion, from the creation to the consumption... so scaling this down to three items is actually not easy at all, but let's do this, shall we!

No, I don't do sushi! I have tried many times, including eating it off a naked woman's body lol, but alas - my body says NO! The same however, cannot be said for oysters! I love them!!!! Would eat them all day if I could and no, not for the reasons which your gutter brain assumes, haha! People say that oysters are tasteless and not worth the effort, and perhaps they are a little tasteless left un-seasoned but if we all strip down to nothing but our skin... we are too really, aren't we ;) I am de-railing... My starter would be OYSTERS and COPIOUS amounts of them too - drizzled and decorated in all the finest fashions - peppers, onions, chilli, you fucking name it, I will take it!

Like I said... carbs. It's really is a no-brainer for me. Choosing WHICH carb however, was NOT an easy task... I love potato in every shape and form but I think if I am completely honest with myself, my TRUE carb love is pasta!!!!! Oh man, I love it! Macaroni cheese, Spaghetti Bolognaise, Alfredo, Lasagne... I would have one of each on my last menu if I could, lol - but... alas I cannot. Honestly, one of my favourites is simple spaghetti, a little olive oil, grated cheese and chopped garlic... honestly - I actually cannot make a decision on this, so I am going to just say PASTA as my main - HOWEVER it is served!!!

Like I said, I don't have much of a sweet tooth. I would sooner skip dessert and have more of the mains. But here we are, my last night on earth draws to a close and I need to choose something which will satisfy me as I pass into the great beyond... another no-brainer for me, I would choose Cheese and Wine!!!!! Cheese - an absolutely LEGENDARY savoury dessert, and wine, well - does it really require any kind of introduction?!

There are many things which I would have loved to add to this menu, but alas - here we stand. Three things which make my soul smile... I am happy! Happy is good! It was delicious from start to finish and I reckon I could "cross-over" with some good vibes! How about yours? What would your last three course menu consist of?!

❤❤❤

Until next time...
