Also mother to (at times) the most annoying bloody Jack Russell puppy named Herbie... but despite my occasional desire to pull a Michael Jackson on both my puppy and my son... they are my world!

but am a lot more responsible now... mostly lol!

Now it's a much more civilised agenda with things like boat trips, dining out with family and friends... and braais and wine in the comfort of my hermit space called home lol...

Many of you already know that I am a complete wine glutton - I mean it's written into my bio for heavens sake... but really speaking it is pretty much compulsory when you live in a little town that produces some of the best wines in the world!

A graphic designer by trade since 2000. I left the industry about 2 years ago when I handed my design and print business over to my shop manager... but have recently decided to put that creative cap back on again. I launched a shop on Redbubble and have been having great fun putting merch designs together...

I have been enjoying it so much that since getting the gig to do the new @peakd logo design I also decided to put some peakd merch designs together - seemed only appropriate with our whole new adventure in front of us :)

So yes... aside from "social distancing" for the last week or so - that is what has been keeping me busy. However, as we head into complete lockdown on Thursday, I will be no doubt be getting back into blogging facets of mine that most of you are a little more familiar with... that being, I am a COMPLETE foodie! I love cooking and sharing my culinary adventures with you all! I love to cook, I love to entertain... and I do a lot of both - well, no entertaining for the next 21 days though lol....

I do not own an "actual camera", but I do consider myself a "wannabe photographer" and I am always keen to snap up a good shot out and about. I do not profess to compete with anyone who actually knows what they are doing lol, but I do have fun...

I am also a HUGE!!!!! music lover! Life without music would simply be unbearable in my opinion! I share that little slice of passion with all of you once a week with my "Track of the Week" posts - of which the first one on Hive, will be published on Thursday 26th March :) It is a great opportunity to win some Hive and also to add some tunes from around the world to your playlist!

Last but most definitely not least - the one thing that is primarily responsible for keeping me out of trouble is the running of my Power House Creatives Community! Such an AMAZING group of individuals!!! My life would honestly be incomplete without them!!!!! Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive & well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body totally worn out & screaming WOOHOO what a ride!!
