Hi @galenkp. Hey, I really appreciate that thoughtful comment. I hope I can shed some light. I really really am trying to help @becca-mac. I am a teacher at heart. I want to see people flourish in this craft. I care. Otherwise, I wouldn't take the time to write an in-depth comment about how she can learn the fundamentals of fiction writing.

One of the hardest things about written communication is providing clear intent. My comment just above yours was written with a caring heart and the hope that I can share some wisdom with this charming fledgling bird that can help her to fly.

I'm sad and a bit heartbroken that it didn't come off that way. I'm not sure what more I can do.

As for your comments about our little team of admins, I will just say that we are all doing our best. We are passionate about the platform, about fiction, about our community, and every day we do our best to read and comment on every story that comes into the community, providing feedback and pointers to our resources.
