The thing about shorter days is that it can be easy for me to discover at the end of the day that the sun has set and I never got outside!
That happened today. I work from home and it was 6 pm before I left my desk — way too late at this time of year for a nice outdoor walk.
So after dinner I turned on the Tv and did a workout while watching one of the many shows I seem to be perennially working my way through. In this case it was the Netflix series The Perfect Couple with Nicole Kidman.
Now I know this is a blog post about getting steps, but let’s face it, there is only so much about that topic one can find interesting. And I never ever write blog posts with no substance!
So let’s talk just a bit about this movie.
Hopefully that code drops the movie trailer into this post. If not here’s the YouTube link:
I’m not going to write an in-depth review, but I will say this. It is bizarrely entertaining. But that said, it is a show that struggles a bit to find its footing. It does a nice job of being a murder mystery that keeps you guessing. Yet it doesn’t seem to know quite where it belongs on the spectrum between lighthearted and sinister.
I don’t want to give anything away. If you watch it, or have done so, let me know if you agree. (No spoilers!)
Well thanks for visiting my blog! All the best.
