I intended to take a short walk tonight but kept getting lured forward by beautiful evening views. Here are a few pictures of flowers from the small town where I like to walk sometimes, as it is right on the marina.
It’s really an adorable little town. Very wealthy, unfortunately, so the homes are out of my price range. But I like to walk there because it’s beautiful and charming and very quiet.
They have an adorable gazebo (though it could really use some paint) and an old general store that sells, coffee, ice cream and miscellany.
I walked up to the store, which was closed and dark. But eerily, there was a TV on inside.
Okay let’s look at some golden hour shots of the lake and the boats.
I went to a little dock that is in the world’s tiniest park in between two houses. All of the other docks are private. I went and sat for a while and enjoyed the views of the darkening lake.
Soon a boat came along, with a young couple in it talking and laughing. It seemed quite dark for them to be out! Most boats come in at dusk.
By the time I was heading back toward my car the sun had fully set and it was actually dark out. Fortunately my phone camera is pretty good at picking up ambient light. These next few pictures look much lighter than the did you my eye!
Another boat was coming in!
