We are experiencing the most bizarre weather. Normally this time of year we simply expect snow, ice and cold. But the weather patterns are completely off.
I woke this morning to a beautiful fog, after a night of pouring rain that obliterated most of our lovely snow. Tonight we have had pounding rain and an enormous thunder and lightning storm, and in the night a terrible windstorm is expected with tornado warnings! This is not Minnesota winter weather.
Anyway, I dashed out this morning for a walk to capture some pictures of the beautiful fog.
I was at my favorite park, which has trails of all kinds. I sometimes stick to the main paths and trails. Other times, like today, I follow single track paths formed by people and their dogs seeking quieter, roads less traveled, like Robert Frost.
I really enjoy taking close-ups of the wild growth and cattails, with the sky, fog and trees behind.
I love how fog can be either serene or eerie!
Thank you to @tatoodjay for hosting Wednesdaywalk!
