Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as they say! I have no beautiful pictures to share from today, and will therefore not sully the #beautifulsunday and #sublimesunday tags! But it was in fact a beautiful day with family.
It actually started with a half day of doing what I pleased — writing and putting up a post — before things kicked in with the fam. But then one of the kids and my husband and I played a really intense game that my daughter got for Christmas. And then the three of us went out walking around the neighborhood.
Then I made a nice family dinner - a big hearty southwest salad with corn and beans and chicken and a chipotle dressing - which everyone gobbled up. (Forgot to take a picture. It was quite colorful!)
And then in the evening the kids were well involved in various things so my husband and I went out to the movies. This next photo is from the movie theater. I liked the poinsettias!
And here’s one more photo from the day — my indoor cat and partially outdoor cat looking at each other through the window. The indoor cat will meow and fuss until I let the outdoor cat in!
