Well friends, it was one of those crazy weekend days where I juggled creative writing, house chores, and work that needed to get done before Monday.
But at least the day started out like this, with fire in the sky.
In the afternoon, we tackled our leaf piles again. We have two leaf blowers and were both at it, and then I kept bagging as much as I could and hauling them out of the yard to dump them in the woods. It was a chore!
Fortunately, we have Helpful Dog!
The day ended the way it began, with the sky lit up pink. But we still were not done, so we bagged leaves until well after dark! We have awesome outdoor lights, so we worked until we were done.
I was so wiped out from leaf blowing, raking and bagging that I collapsed in a chair and ordered food delivery from Door Dash!
