For the month of May, I ll be creating awareness about abortion and hoping to engage in conversations about it too. Anyone is welcome to join me in this and make their own post or even drop comments and share. This post is not to spite anyone who thinks otherwise, do kindly make your point.
In today’s world, people are easily swayed by what they see and hear whether on social media, billboards, or even well-written articles. Persuasion is everywhere, shaping beliefs and decisions. That’s why we must be careful about who we listen to and what we allow to influence us. Entire generations have been deceived into accepting certain ideas, and one of those is the issue of abortion.
For years, I’ve heard arguments for and against abortion some call it a sin, others justify it as a "safe" choice to prevent potential hardships. But the truth, as I often say, waits at the end for all of us. No matter how we try to rationalize our actions, judgment ultimately rests with God, who sees and knows all.
For something to be a sin, there must be a law against it. So, is there a law scriptural, moral, or legal that condemns the termination of a pregnancy at any stage?
Some argue that because a fetus depends on its mother, it isn’t yet a "person." But consider:
A fetus is not just a "potential" life it is life. When abortion occurs, that life is ended.
Human beings are human at every stage embryo, fetus, newborn, or adult. Terminating a pregnancy isn’t just a "choice"; it’s the taking of a life, a violation of moral, spiritual, and medical principles.
In a future post, we might discuss rare cases where abortion could be debated but even then, lines must be drawn carefully. We must teach the next generation that every action has consequences. You can’t make reckless decisions and then erase the outcomes.
Life isn’t a game of convenience. Stop killing babies. Take responsibility.
