Good morning lovers let discuss about plants today.. flowers are the reproductive parts of a plant. They contain both male and female parts... Just like we human beings. The male and female reproductive part unite to develop into seeds. Thus new life begins with this union. When we sow the seeds, they germinate and grow into new plants. These plants bear flowers that produce the seeds again.not all the plants develop from their seeds. Some plants also reproduce their young once from their parts. This process is called "vegetative propagation" this according to what we were taught back in school days.

According to what my teacher explained to us she said in other vegetative propagation,a new plants grows from any portion of an old one other than the seeds.the portion of the old plant involved must have a store of food.this portion also must be able to produce all the parts of a complete plant which iclude roots, stems, leaves, and flowers.the store of food is used by new plants during its initial stage of growth until it is able to manufacture its own food, examples are onions, sweet potato, cassava stem, pineapple, cocoyam, etc.

This lead us to flowering plants.. flowering plants are plants that bear flowers.the flowers grow on the stalks from the axils of the leaves.the flower is the reproductive part of the plant.when fertalized,it develops into a fruit which contains seeds.in a flowering plant, fertilization occurs when one of the male gametes fuses with the female gamete(ovule)to form a zygote the ovule which is now fertilized, develops into a seed while the ovary develops into a fruit.

THANKS FOR REVIEWING MY POST...MERRY CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR IN ADVANCE.
