“Set realistic goals”
“Are you sure you want to do that?”
“If I were you…”
“Good luck, you’re going to need it”
This type of thinking is one that is based in scarcity and is poisonous to the achieving mind. You CANNOT and WILL NOT be successful if you think in this way because successful people think in terms of abundance. A rich person’s financial life is overflowing with money. A rich marriage is over flowing with love. A rich and fulfilling career is overflowing with advancement. How do you plan to BE rich if you think poorly? Do not have a death grip on your success; instead, gladly help others obtain it. Thinking in terms of abundance acts as a multiplier and will return tenfold to you what you give.
(2.) Be different in the Way you View "Value"
The successful mind understands that you to get you must GIVE VALUE FIRST. The poor mind think in the reverse and believes that you GET, THEN you give value. Would you pay a contractor all the money up front before they start building you a house? No, you would not (or at least you shouldn’t). So why would one expect a boss to give you a raise before you have added value to the company? Why would a perspective client sign a long term agreement with you before you prove you can produce quality product? The successful understand that giving first is the first step to reciprocity, forming loyal partnerships and repeat business. The poor mind demands payment up front due to their lack of confidence in their performance ; this ultimately causes the other party to feel unfairly treated.
(3.) RISK VS REWARD
Risk is inevitable if you want to be a success in anything that you do. Those that are risk adverse (no matter the potential reward) are keeping themselves from opportunity. This type of thinking is rooted in a belief of focusing only on the negative. The successful understand that calculated risk is a necessary part of life and failure is a possibility; BUT SO IS SUCCESS! BE POSITIVE!The risk reward ratio is essentially another way of saying (is it worth it?); that is left up to the individual. Just remember that there has never been a self-made millionaire that never took a risk.
