Reviewees are the most religious people according to one of our reviewers in Excel. He told us the stories of previous reviewees about them being religious especially when the licensure examination is very near. People visit to different churches, attend novena mass, even going to Simala church which is located a distant from the center. Other people pray the holy rosary and some will even be burning a lot of candles - just for their wish to come true.
Honestly, I was one of them. The reason was that I know and I can feel that I can not do it alone. It might be exaggerating but the pressure is really high especially when the examination is getting closer. You have to meet the expectations from people (and that pressure is really scary). The people who looked up to you and is expecting you to excel.
I prayed a lot, of times. In different churches, time, and day. I prayed for good health, nowledge, peace of mind, and wisdom during my review and the actual examination. I'm glad that everything turned to our favor and not to the ones that prayed for my failure (they're here). One of the best things about praying is that you will connect to your inner soul and heart. Don't underestimate the power of prayer!
