The sudden burst in startled me.
Five years without a sign of life and suddenly they burst in violently, smashing down my door.
I watched as they formed a circle with a dazed gesture, unable to understand.
I didn't come out of hiding, the light hurt my eyes and my dishevelled appearance was not appropriate for visitors.
They left a sealed object on the ground next to four flowers and left, closing the entrance behind them.
Did they not notice my half-opened coffin, or did they simply choose to ignore the being who was once their loved one and was now something else?
They decided to seal my new abode, condemning me to eternal darkness. Perhaps it was meant to be after what I had become.
