He saw her sitting alone, drinking a martini.
She was elegant and dressed in black, just as they had planned for their blind date.
She approached and they began to talk, martini after martini.
She was cultured, but cold. After the fourth drink, he had had enough. No sign of attraction.
He would not take her back to his flat that full moon night.
Yet there they lay in bed looking out the window at the moon.
Then, he felt like joking. In a serious tone, he said:
-Did you know that NASA discovered that the moon is made of Swiss cheese? That's why it has so many craters.
She replied
-You know what happens to me when a moon as full as that one reaches its zenith?
He looked at her seriously.
