Frustration gnawed at the teacher. Try as he might to explain, his student did not understand the difference between an aphorism and a micro-story.
In desperation, he opened the second desk drawer and took out his Smith & Wesson.
The temptation to end the torture was immense.
But no, there had to be another way.
Suddenly, a brilliant idea crossed his mind.
He loaded the gun and, with a nimble movement, pointed it at his temple.
-This, my boy, is an aphorism, -he said.
Then he narrated in a dramatic voice a short story about a misunderstood teacher, and then he pulled the trigger.
At the end, the pupil finally understood.
