What happens, it suits, this sentence with this oriental proverb that is in this content of my post, changes everything.
It's not resignation. It is not indifference.

It is to understand that life is not against us. It goes from teaching us to be happy, the problem is that no one explains them that way. We learned to fight with reality, to resist it, to control it, and the more struggles we undertake against it, with life, the more we suffer.

I think that what we are not able to accept is the only cause of our suffering. Accepting is the first step.

Discovering the wound behind, is the next step. If suffering seems to haunt us for no reason, it may be that we are doing something that no one teaches us to avoid, which is fighting reality. Why learning to accept without giving up is the only tool that really frees us from suffering and brings us closer to authentic happiness.

I would stop believing that our professional value depends on always saying yes. I would leave that to the results. I don't know if there's a formula for saying NO without guilt. I suspect that guilt, in reasonable doses, is within the package of choosing to set limits. The question is how much are we willing to pay for not feeling it. Since no one audits their own blind spot.

That's why the best at something have someone from the outside looking at how they look, maybe they return us questions that one was not going to ask oneself, and the answers those yes are still entirely ours. And let the other understand what he wants to understand.

Also the body changes but the choice does not get old. Let's remember that the quality of the work is decided by us with the health that there is and the time that we have left... They say out there that the sky is the limit. What the self experiences as a threat can be, at the same time, an agent of change. It is decision and willpower.

The funny thing is that these imaginary conversations almost never seek to close something. And since there is no possible closure with the ghosts, the conversations are repeated. Sometimes we do everything “right" hoping that life will respond as we imagine. We study and wait for work. We take care and expect love. We strive and expect results. But generating conditions does not guarantee what will happen.

Perhaps part of the suffering appears when we confuse possibility with promise. We can take care of the conditions, do our part and still let the future appear...

There are things with which we can and things with which we cannot... Sometimes the ego does not let us see what is valuable, because it allows us to see only what is not there.

It is also worth being alone…
