Acá en Cuba hoy amanecimos con temperaturas invernales , 16 °C, unos 61℉ creo. Para nosotros los cubanos es terrible, pues no estamos acostumbrados a temperaturas inferiores a los 25°C. Por una rara asociación de pensamientos, que mejor ni describo porque no tiene sentido casi ni para mí, les traigo estas fotos realizadas en el Muelle de Regla. A modo de introducción del lugar: Regla es un municipio de La Habana, que se ubica en la bahía, frente a La Habana Vieja y a la cual se puede acceder a través de la archiconocida para nosotros ¨Lanchita de Regla¨ o mediante ómnibus urbanos. Es una localidad portuaria, que invita a la fotografía callejera, y que en otra ocasión les mostraré algunos trabajos hechos allí. Lo que me llamó la atención de las imágenes que les traigo hoy, como a pesar de que la foto 1, no es una viga, sino un hombre pescando, al mirarlas no podía dejar de pensar en que ¨veía¨ una secuencia. El blanco y negro me sirve para despejar cualquier ¨intromisión¨ que produzcan los colores de otros elementos que aparecen en las fotos. |
Here in Cuba today we woke up with winter temperatures, 16 °C, about 61℉ , for us Cubans it is terrible, because we are not habituated to temperatures lower than 25°C. For a rare association of thoughts, which I better not describe because it makes no sense even for me, I bring you these photos taken at the pier of Regla. By way of introduction of the place: Regla is a municipality of Havana, located in the bay, in front of Old Havana and which can be accessed through the well-known for us ¨Lanchita de Regla¨ (little boat) or by urban buses. It is a port locality, which invites to street photography, and that on another occasion I will show you some works made there. What caught my attention of the images that I bring you today, as despite the fact that photo 1 is not a metal beam, obviously, but a man fishing, when I looked at them I could not help thinking that I "saw" sequence. The black and white serves me to clear any "intrusion" produced by the colors of the other elements that appear in the photos. |
