The days really do pass by so fast, don't they? Or did February go by too quickly? A new month has already begun, and there are other exciting things to come. I feel like I've been slacking off these last two months, though, and if I plotted my number of published blogs, it would be decreasing. I'll admit that I wasn't always like this. I simply allowed myself more time to enjoy my little spare time and take a break from online side hustles. I don't want to overwork myself online because I already overwork in the real world. [Prioritizing my health] is something I recently want to do (@jane1289/my-first-chiropractic-therapy-and). Anyhow, posting every other day isn't bad at all.

Now it's time to power up! This is something that I can do consistently.

However, I missed the last few days to complete the HPUM and it is a bit disappointing. I've been so occupied with some stuff recently that I forgot about my commitment to power up daily. I missed the last two days, and it's such a waste, isn't it? I better luck next time.

Pinoy Barbecue Craving Granted

I once came across a Facebook reel about a Filipino barbecue shop in Hong Kong. It's been a while since I had Pinoy BBQ, so ever since then, I've been yearning for it. I went to Yau Ma Tei, which is only a short train ride from my place. While tracking down Island Grill Tambayan, the Pinoy Barbecue stand, I discovered that there are several food shops with alfresco dining areas on the street. The street dining area takes over an entire block.

The Island Grill Tambayan opens at five in the afternoon. So it was fit for dinner time. I was one of the first few customers to order barbecue. Seeing Pinoy barbecue brought back some good memories. I felt nostalgic while smelling the aroma of the barbecue. I felt like taken back to my country, waiting for the barbecue to be cooked along the street. Barbecue is one of my favorite street foods back then. Being able to eat it again made me feel great and satisfied.

There are pork and chicken barbecue, chicken isaw, chicken feet, chicken gizzard, chicken liver, pig ears, pig intestines, and sausages. I ordered chicken and pork barbecue with isaw and chicken feet. Isaw is chicken intestine, and I loved it when grilled and then dipped into Pinoy-style barbecue sauce made of vinegar with garlic and onion. My dinner was delightful and my craving was finally granted.

There are different Chinese restaurants in the area, as well as Indian food shops. At night, diners started to arrive, filling up the once-empty seats in the streets. It's also a good place for those who want to have some night drinking sessions with friends or family up to their content.

It was my first time seeing a place like this. And I guess I'll visit it again.

Thanks for your time.
