Tonight after work my coworker and I rode the Chicago L train Blue line from a stop near O'Hare airport to the Racine Rd stop in downtown Chicago. Then we walked a few blocks to dinner (Thai curry!) before heading to the WNDR Museum.
I had never heard of this museum before, but a few days after we got assigned to take a Chicago trip, Scott asked if I was interested in checking it out.
Yes, of course! So tonight we encountered-

Cool light bulbs that would pick up the color of whatever they were pressed up against!
A room of wires and tin cans that when held near the wire, would play music from around the world.
A black and white room with some interesting perspective imagery. For taking black and white photos in it!
A sound lab that would define you in music based on images you choose from a touch screen. I got Aretha Franklin's Respect as my song.

We got back to the hotel at about 9:45 and there was a firework show going on!

Tomorrow I drop Scott off at a location near the airport while I drive north to visit another group of users. I'll head back to the airport at around 2 pm and hopefully be home by 1 am.
