1 How long have you been on the blockchain?
I came in on July 28, 2018, so I have been on the blockchain for coming up on 3 1/2 years.
I also came into @theterminal on Discord as being like a blockchain extension on December 13, 2018, which was about 6 days after @xcountytravelers, @thekittygirl, and @brittandjosie opened it.
2 What was your background in Cryptocurrency when you first came to the blockchain?
Absolutely zero. I had no cryptocurrency knowledge and it had never even been considered.
3 What was your background in writing when you first came to the blockchain?
I had no background in blogging, nor did I write at all in any other capacity. I took some classes in college at 40, Math, Psychology, and English Composition, but at the time the surroundings were cool and fun, and I did enjoy the writing. I did not write again until approx 2 1/2 years ago.
4 How many people did you know when you first came to the Blockchain?
Zero. I literally knew no one when I first came on, and I had 15 SP that was delegated to me, and I had no idea what that was lol.
5 How did you meet people when you first came to the Blockchain?
I didn't do anything for 4 months that I had this account, and sometime in November of 2018 I was looking through the trending, and I saw a contest that was being sponsored by @deemarshall, she was running a coloring contest, and I like to color, so I joined in.
Through Dee I met a young lady named @lildebbiecakes, and she was a professional painter! She did some amazing works, and she started encouraging me to keep practicing. And I also met a young man named @magiccleatus who had the Zen Colouring Contest with mandela like stencils, and I really enjoyed coloring those as well.
I think it was through him that I met @viking-ventures, and she also was giving me instructions and helping me learn the coloring and digital painting process, along with DAZ 3D which I sort of laxed on now.
6 Who did you look up to when you first came to the blockchain?
As I knew no one when I first came on the blockchain I really didn't look up to anyone at that point. I had met this young woman named deemarshall, and she did this art contest that I thought I would try, although I was not an artist either.
So by and by, I had met lildebbiecakes, magiccleatus, and viking-ventures through Dee, and he ran his own contest called Zen Colouring Contest. Then I sort of looked up to all 3 of them as they were all excellent at the artwork, two of them as they were running their contests and all were well established on the blockchain.
7 How would you describe your first three months on the blockchain?
I don't remember interacting in the first three months, I cannot even recall what I did, I know I did not do much, as there was no activity, and I don't think I met Dee until the end of November. Since I had gotten an account at the end of July, I hadn't even met Dee until I had been here 4 months.
8 Has being a part of the blockchain changed you in any way for the good?
It has absolutely changed me in many positive ways, I have not only learned to color and paint a little (everyone needs massive practice, right?) and also, I have met some really awesome and wonderful people on here, @deemarshal, @magiccleatus, and @lildebbiecakes (who really inpacted me in a really unique way, as lildebbiecakes was an artist who encouraged me for quite a while who I still check in on once in a while) and @viking-ventures who did the same thing in encouraging me but they all left the blockchain except for viking-ventures and are no longer active.
9 What is your favorite memory from your time on the blockchain?
My favorite memory from my time here is when I met @dreemsteem, @bluefinstudios, and Ren and her husband Scott who are @xcountytravelers. Ren invited me to go into The Terminal and so I came into The Terminal December 13, 2018, which was about 6 days after it opened. This is when I met Miss Kitty @thekittygirl and Yoda Britt @brittandjosie, who were co-founders of The Terminal.
Dreemie asked me if I was interested in learning more about the blockchain, and drafted me into the Welcome Wagon on January 14, 2019, a program both her and Blue were running. Ren was calling me her little brother hahahahaha, she had gone through the "school" and graduated.

10 If you could give advice to a new person signing up to Hive what would it be?
I would first address the notion that this is not a get-rich-quick scheme which seems to be a good percentage of the newbees that think this way unless taught otherwise. I think that they should be told the truth; that this takes dedication and perseverence.
Build your account up to be solid before attempting to do anything substantial here. The thing is, if you have no help and do not know anyone, to go to trending and pick out some posts that looks like it may interest you and read them, then write a really engaging comment, as that is one of the main things here that will draw attetion. Also, a follow is helpful as well, because if you are leaving really good and engaging comments with a follow, sooner or later you will get noticed, and there may be someone here that will notice you and take you under their wing.
The last thing I would add and suggest is to follow my 7 suggestions that I put on every single introduceyourself post I feature, because these are the very base of security, well being, and etiquette on not only this blockchain, but any blockchain that you work on:
SEVEN SUGGESTIONS TO CONSIDER:
Guard your passwords carefully, and publish and do everything except Wallet with the Posting key;
Use your Active key only for wallet transactions, Keychain, Peaklock, Hivesigner, and Hivelock;
The Owner key and the Master password are only used to reset compromised passwords;
DO NOT LOSE your passwords; but copy and store them offline in a safe place;
Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own;
DO NOT CLICK on any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here. Technically, if you click on a strange link, you have given them permission to access your account, thereby you have NOT been hacked, you have been tricked. BEWARE
