How do I define time
In words that will be mine
The future is vast, I hope it will be kind
On this journey, meaning I try to find
Experience is the best teacher
Try to learn from the world or perhaps teach her
Believe and you will achieve says the preacher
Does life have a manual, question I ask her
I have so much to give
But in return what will I receive
Of course I know and believe
That what is mine shall one day be redeemed
The more I know the farther I drift
But I still believe life is a gift
And time is the essence to uplift
The sad times seem longer, the good always brief

Where do I go from here, please tell me
If I can go back in time, where will I be
On the road where two became we
Or the house where you begged me to set you free
I can go on and on with what I've seen
But are things really what they seem
I hope the little light left don't go dim
Cos if that happens then I don't win
Take everything with a pinch of salt
Go through life like you are dancing waltz
But who will hold my hand so I don't fall
They just give rules, dos and don'ts at the end, its all null
Time has many definitions
It tears down and gloats in restoration
It keeps us in our toes, generation after generation
I would love to have a one on one conversation
If only I knew its location
Its all vanity I guess, so much for closure
